FLAVORS AND INGREDIENTS
What's in the bag?
Ingredients: 100% Arabica specialty coffee beans, organic natural flavors. Our single origins are just specialty coffee, nothing added.
Are your flavors organic?
Our ingredients are: 100% Arabica specialty coffee beans, organic natural flavors.
Are your flavors natural?
Yes. We use 100% natural flavors, never artificial ones.
What are natural flavors?
Under U.S. FDA rules, natural flavors come from natural sources such as fruits, spices or other plant materials, and their main purpose is flavor, not nutrition
Does flavored coffee have sugar or calories?
Our ingredients are specialty coffee beans and natural flavors only. A plain cup of black coffee has just a few calories. Milk, sugar and syrups are what add more.
Does it taste sweet?
The aroma is rich and sweet, but the taste is more subtle than a syrup. Add milk or a little sweetener if you like it dessert-style.
Will flavored beans affect my grinder?
Flavored beans can leave aroma and oils in your grinder. If you also grind unflavored coffee, clean the grinder between uses or keep a separate one.
BREWING AND STORAGE
How should I brew it?
Drip, pour-over, French press, AeroPress and cold brew all work great. Espresso works well too, but flavor oils can build up on your portafilter, group head and grinder, so clean them a little more often than usual.
What grind should I use?
Medium for drip and pour-over, coarse for French press and cold brew, fine for espresso.
Can I make cold brew?
Yes. Use a coarse grind, steep in cold water in the fridge for 12–24 hours, then strain.
How should I store it?
Keep it in the sealed bag or an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place. Skip the fridge and freezer.
How long does it stay fresh?
Enjoy it by the best-by date on the bag. Once opened, it tastes best within a few weeks.
How many cups does a 12 oz bag make?
Around 30 cups, depending on how strong you like it.
